Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation’s affiliate APK Shusha LLC and Azchem LLC signed a contract for over 495,600 manat ($291,530), Trend reports citing Electronic Procurement portal of Azerbaijan.
According to the portal, the winner of the tender announced by the fund for acquiring vehicle of polyethylene coating has been declared.
“By the decision of the tender commission, the winner of the tender became Azchem LLC,” the portal said.
As to date, 21 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operate in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation (AIC) was established by the decree of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated November 6, 2017.
The purposes of its establishment are to increase the efficiency of state property management, create a reporting and control system based on corporate governance principles, establish beneficial cooperative ties between state-owned enterprises, and grow along the value chain in connection with the application of the presidential decree on strategic roadmaps on the national economy and main sectors of the economy dated December 6, 2016.
