Iranian lawmakers have approved the priority to review reform of budget structure, 181 MP's voted in favor, 22 against and 8 casted abstain vote over the plan, said the head of budget structure reform committee.
"The following plan would possibly be the most important plan in current parliament term that has been prepared by the plan and budget commission with the cooperation of Plan and Budget Organization, "said Mohsen Zangeneh, Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.
"Reforming budget structure is a fundamental woke that can solve 70 percent of economic, social, and even political problems," he added.
The issue of reforming budget structure has been followed in the past four months by cooperation with the Plan and Budget Organization, the reform would be in 12 articles. The plan was drafted with cooperation with the government to create social infrastructure.
"Due to the short timeline for submitting the new Iranian year (starts March 21, 2021) budget plan, it is the priority to review reform of budget structure. The plan would reform sources, the financial connection between oil companies and the government, crude oil sale infrastructure, and the government obligation to submit its financial lists" he noted.
He went on to say that the next parliament session would review the plan to reform budget structure that would be for a budget plan in the next Iranian yea and coming years.
