Physical volume of Kazakhstan's GDP drops over 9M2020

Physical volume of Kazakhstan’s GDP amounted to 44.8 trillion tenge ($104.4 billion based on current exchange rate) over nine months of 2020, which is 2.8 percent less than during the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Some 53.3 percent of the total GDP value account for paid services, 40.5 percent account for goods manufacturing, and 6.2 percent account for net tax.

The volume of goods manufacturing amounted to 18.1 trillion tenge ($42.3 billion) over the reporting period, which is 2.2 percent more than during the same period last year.

Of this amount, 13.08 trillion tenge ($30.5 billion) accounts for goods produced in industry, which is 0.2 percent more than during the same period last year; 2.7 trillion tenge ($6.4 billion) - for construction sphere, which is 10.5 percent more than last year; and 2.2 trllion tenge ($5.3 billion) - for agriculture, fishery and forestry, which is 5 percent more than during the same period last year.

In turn, 23.8 trillion tenge ($55.6 billion) of Kazakhstan’s GDP accounted for services, which is 6.1 percent less than during the same period last year.

Net tax stood at 2.7 trillion tenge ($6.5 billion) of GDP, which is 4.8 percent less than during the same period last year.
