Value of Iran’s exports to Russia increases

The value of Iran's exports to Russia increased by 29 percent during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (TCCIMA).

According to the report, the value of Iran's exports to Russia amounted to $285 million within the same period.

“At the same time, Iran imported $727 million worth of goods from Russia over the eight months," the report said.

According to the report, the value of imports decreased by 8 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

According to the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported 75 million tons of goods worth $21.5 billion during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020). Iran's exports decreased by 19 percent in terms of value and 14 percent in terms of volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

In addition, Iran imported 21.8 million tons of goods worth $23.1 billion within 8 months of the current Iranian year.

Iran's imports decreased by 18 percent in terms of value and 1 percent in terms of volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
