The number of enterprises licensed for establishment in Iran decreased by 16.5 percent in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 22 through October 21), compared to the 6th month (August 22 through September 21), Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

According to the statistics, a total of 3,290 enterprises were licensed for establishment in Iran in the 7th month.

“While in 6th month of the current Iranian year, 3,940 enterprises were licensed for establishment in Iran,” the statistics said.

In general, it is planned to be invested 475 trillion rials (about $11.3 billion) for the establishment of enterprises in the 7th month. This is a decrease of 1.9 percent compared to 6th month,” the statistics said.

According to the statistics, so, this figure amounted to 484 trillion rials (about $11.5 billion) in the 6th month.

“Furthermore, 74,300 people are estimated to be employed based on the licenses issued in 7th month. The employment decreased by 15.2 percent compared to the 6th month. Thus, 87,600 people were estimated to be employed based on the licenses issued in 6th month, the statistics said.
