Issues of Iranian auto industry will be resolved soon and its production will increase, said Iran's Minister of Industries Mine and Trade Alireza Razm Hosseini, Trend reports via IRNA.

"The plan to increase auto production has started and currently 4,500 vehicles are being produced per day by auto manufacturers," he said during his visit to Isfahan Province, to review the issues of the local auto makers.

"Isfahan Province is active in auto production and it is expected that banking problems of this industry would be resolved and could implementing some plans," he said.

"Most production indicators in the country are positive and it's expected that the production sector in the country will bounce back, despite difficulties," he said.

"There are some steel factories that require supply of basic materials, so steps have been taken in this regard," Hosseini said.

"In recent weeks, the export volume increased and necessary commodities have been imported for factories due to the government's recent policy to allow exporters return foreign currency revenues by importing necessary goods, " he said.

"It has been expected that the issue of supplying basic material for steel factories would be reviewed and steel would be offered at the stock exchange," he said.

"From the start of the current Iranian year (started March 20,2020) country's steel production increased 9 percent and we hope to continue to increase by the end of current Iranian year (started March 20,2020)," he said.
