The retail turnover of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies in Azerbaijan totaled 644.7 million manat ($379.2 million) from January through November 2020, having increased by 41.9 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.
The share of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies in the total retail turnover reached 11.8 percent, said the report.
In the first 11 months of 2020, in Azerbaijan, the output of the main types of products in the pharmaceutical industry, in particular drugs of the antibiotic group, in total amounted to 14,500 manat ($8,529), other drugs in total – 678,900 manat ($399,352).
