BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 25

By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

The implementation of 35 projects worth 119.7 billion tenge ($285 million) is planned to be launched in 2021 and further years in Kazakhstan’s Almaty Industrial Zone, a source in Almaty Industrial Zone told Trend on Dec. 25.

“More than 5,000 jobs (including 15 export-oriented enterprises) will be created as a result of the implementation of these projects,” the source said. “Currently, these residents are carrying out design, construction and survey work in the allocated areas.”

Moreover, it is planned to build and reconstruct five industrial parks by the developers, namely, KazStroyTrade LLP, D&J Investments & Logistic LLP, ADS Industries LLP, Ala Estate LLP and Asia Prom Textile next year on the territory of the Almaty Industrial Zone. The total area of production facilities will be about 35,000 square meters.

"The small and medium-sized enterprises will be provided with industrial premises in the industrial park on preferential terms at a fixed rental rate for a period of 5-7 years regardless of devaluation risks,” the source said. “The cost of renting premises will reach 1,000-1,200 tenge per square meter. The cost of redemption of premises will be up to 145,000 tenge per square meter.”
