The export of Azerbaijani plastics and plastic products made up $164.6 million in 2020, Trend reports with reference to the statistical report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
The decline in the export of plastics and plastic products from Azerbaijan amounted to 8.2 percent in 2020 compared to the previous year.
The share of plastics and plastic products in the total export of goods of Azerbaijan amounted to 1.2 percent.
Azerbaijan imported plastics and plastic products worth $345.9 million in the reporting year. The share of plastics and plastic products in the total import of goods of Azerbaijan amounted to 3.2 percent.
The decline in import of plastics and plastic products in Azerbaijan in 2020 amounted to 14.3 percent compared to the previous year.
Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover made up more than $24.4 billion from January through December 2020, which is 26.5 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
