With the support of the Produce in Georgia agency, the industry producing semi-finished plastic bottles and milk containers was expanded, Trend reports via Georgian media.
The company Alfa Pet is engaged in the production of semi-finished plastic bottles and supplies manufactured products to companies such as Coca-Cola, Borjomi, Sno, and others. Simultaneously, the company produces up to 15 million dairy products per year and sells its products.
The total investment for the project is 30 million lari ($9.1 million), and at this stage, 54 people are employed.
Alfa Pet receives financial support through the industrial component, which means that the interest rate of the loan will be covered by the Produce in Georgia agency.
Meanwhile, to alleviate the situation caused by the pandemic; changes were made to the industrial component of the agency:
The loan limit for participation in the program has been reduced to 50,000 lari ($15,244), and the maximum loan amount raised to 10 million lari ($3.04 million).
Moreover, the number of co-financing months increased from 24 to 36 months.
