The export of plastics and the relevant products from Azerbaijan amounted to over $22.7 million In January 2021, Trend reports citing the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
Accordingly, Azerbaijan’s exports of plastics and its products grew by 45 percent on an annualized basis.
According to the SCC, the share of the specified products in total exports amounted to 1.4 percent.
At the same time, imports of the mentioned products by Azerbaijan made up $26.3 million or 3.34 percent of total imports.
The decline in imports of plastics and plastic products to Azerbaijan in annual terms amounted to 5.3 percent.
In 2020, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $24.4 billion, which is 26.5 percent less compared to 2019.
