A part of the Malayer County in the Hamadan Province (western Iran) has been supplied with water, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, a 38 km long pipeline was laid from the Kalan dam to the Malayer County and a filtration unit was built.
“A total of 1.32 trillion rials (about $31.4 million) was spent in this regard. Of this, 800 billion rials (about $19 million) was spent by the private sector and 520 billion rials (about $ 12.4 million) by the public sector,” the report said.
Thus, 170,000 people were supplied with water in the Malayer County of Hamadan Province.
As reported, 20 water and electricity facilities were launched in 6 provinces of Iran and 83 villages in 17 provinces have been supplied with electricity yesterday. A total of 5.8 trillion rials (about $138 million) was spent on these operations.
