Foreign companies are interested in returning to the Iranian market, but this time we must negotiate with them intelligently and conditionally to increase the depth of cooperation, Secretary-General of the Iranian Home Appliance Industry Association said.
"In recent years, the departure of prominent foreign brands from our country was forced and under the pressure of the Americans, while most of them wanted to continue to be a part of the Iranian market," the Secretary-General of the Iranian Home Appliance Industry Association of Iran Abbas Hashemi said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Referring to the withdrawal of the foreign home appliance companies from the Iranian market he says that there has been great growth in deepening the domestic production of all kinds of home appliances in the country.
"However, the supply of some items inside is not cost-effective and still needs to be imported," he said.
He announced the Ministry of Industry's plan to produce 25 million home appliances in the country by 2025.
"This goal is set considering the large market of the neighboring countries. The home appliance industry experienced a good leap in production in 2020, which is not comparable to the last 9 years," Hashemi pointed out that
