Iran's agreement with Azerbaijan on the establishment of a joint industrial town is an achievement of Iran's economic development, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Alireza Razm Hosseini told journalists, Trend reports citing the Tasnim news agency.
The minister emphasized that the joint industrial park and railway terminal will facilitate the development of Iran's export, industrial and trade sectors.
He added that Iran intends to increase economic cooperation with Azerbaijan. The public and private sectors in Iran are cooperating in this direction.
Razm Hosseini noted that joint investments will be made as soon as the necessary agreements are reached on the establishment of a joint industrial town.
