Iran boosts volume of non-oil exports to Russia

Iran's exports of non-oil products to Russia increased by 15 percent in terms of value and 20 percent in terms of volume during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through February 18, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the statistics of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Industries Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA).

According to the statistics, Iran exported 928,000 tons of goods worth $448 million to Russia within 11 months.

“At the same time, Iran imported 2.74 million tons of goods worth $954 million from Russia over the 11 months,” the statistics said.

So, Iran's imports from Russia decreased by 7 percent in terms of value and increased by 8 percent in terms of volume compared to the same period last Iranian year, the statistics said.

As reported, Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 103 million tons worth about $31.2 billion over the first 11 months. Moreover, Iran imported 30.8 million tons of goods worth $34.3 billion during the mentioned period.
