UAE’s activity on Turkmenistan’s commodity and raw materials exchange in Feb.2021

Businessmen from the UAE actively participated in the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in February 2021, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.

Thus, in the first week of February, representatives of the UAE purchased aviation kerosene and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, as well as colorless sheet glass, dried licorice roots and rhizomes, and cotton yarn in foreign currency at Turkmenistan’s exchange.

The UAE also participated in transactions that took place in the Turkmen manat. Thus, entrepreneurs from the UAE bought cotton yarn, raw fatty acids of cotton soapstock, and cotton waste-delint in the Turkmen manat.

In the second week of February, businessmen from the UAE purchased in foreign currency liquefied gas and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, as well as diesel fuel manufactured by the Seydi Oil Refinery, as well as tton yarn and smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products. They also purchased cotton yarn in Turkmen manat.

As for the third week of February, there were also transactions in both the Turkmen manat and foreign currency. In particular, in foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased aviation polypropylene and low-sulfur heating oil produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, as well as ECO-93 gasoline, liquefied gas and technical sulfur.

They also purchased cotton yarn, licorice root extract, and medical supplies in Turkmen manat.

In the last week of February, the UAE bought aviation kerosene and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan on the Turkmenistan’s exchange in foreign currency.
