Georgia holds auction of thermal water company's privatization

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14

Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

The auction of the privatization of Georgian thermal water company "Thermal Waters" near Lisi Lake in Tbilisi is coming to an end, Trend reports via Georgian media.

The company's assets, which consist mainly of pipelines, are being sold for $1.51 million. So far, no company has submitted its bid in the tender.

According to the business register, the state owns 100 percent of the company. The length of the pipelines owned by the company is several kilometers. These pipelines are located in Tbilisi.

The value of the company's assets is 1.52 million lari ($445,332), while its liabilities are 17,273 lari ($5,060).

The company's acquirer has no obligation to invest in it, as the privatization application does not provide for this.
