Iran sees increase in exports from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Provinces

The exports from the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) increased by 239 percent in terms of value and 371 percent in terms of volume in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, an official of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Mehrab Jamalpour said, Trend reports citing the organization.

According to Jamalpour, about 7,000 tons of goods worth $4.5 million were exported from the province to various countries in the first month.

As reported, a number of goods, including almonds, automotive spare parts, fish feed, household appliances, and decorative stones are exported from Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.

Iran's trade turnover amounted to 10.3 million tons worth $5.76 billion within the 1st month of the current Iranian year. The trade turnover increased by 62.5 percent in terms of value and 32 percent in terms of volume compared to the same month last Iranian year.

During the first month, Iran's exports also increased by 80 percent in terms of value and 56 percent in terms of volume compared to the same month last Iranian year. So, Iran exported 8.3 million tons of goods worth $2.97 billion this month.
