Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran signs contracts with large companies

The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran and five major Iranian companies have signed contracts worth about $9.7 billion and $2.04 billion for the implementation of 100 plans, Trend reports citing the ministry.

According to the report, the signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, governors of the Iranian provinces, members of the Iranian parliament and officials of the judiciary.

The plans will be implemented in the mining, mining industry, household appliances and food industries, the report said.

“The ministry has signed a contract worth 3 billion euro with the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) for the implementation of 26 plans, and a contract worth 1.7 billion euro with the Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company for 19 plans,” the report said.

In addition, the ministry has signed a contract worth 5 billion euro with the Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company for the implementation of 36 plans, a contract worth $2 billion with Zarmakarun Industrial Company for 18 plans, a contract worth $40 million with Radiator Industrial Group for two plans, according to the report.

As reported, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran has signed contracts with Chadormalu Mining and Industry Company, Shirin Asal Food Industry Group, Al-Mehdi Aluminum Company, Machine Sazi Arak Company and Sepahan Oil Company for implementation of 62 plans in March 2021. The total value of these contracts amounted to 1.52 quadrillion rials (about $36.2 billion).
