The UK Anglo Asian Mining (AAM) company operating in Azerbaijan sold 48,650 ounces of gold bullion last year, which is 5,342 ounces or 9.9 percent less than in 2019, Trend reports referring to a source in the company.
In 2020, the average sales value per ounce was $1,777, up by $367, or 26 percent compared to 2019. Besides, 11,839 metric tons of copper concentrate were sold, which is 1,558 metric tons or 15 percent more year on year, the source said.
A sales value of copper concentrate shipments to the customer amounted to $17.7 million (excluding Government of Azerbaijan’s share in the production), thus declining by 1 million or 6 percent on annual basis, added the source.
