Textile enterprise commissioned in Iran's West Azerbaijan Province

The Salmas textile enterprise in the Salmas County of the West Azerbaijan Province (northwestern Iran) has been launched, Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

The Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Alireza Razm Hosseini attended the event dedicated in this regard.

According to the report, 100 billion rials (about $2.38 million) worth of foreign investment has been made in the enterprise creation.

"The equipment of French OBEM and Swiss RIETER companies has been installed at this enterprise. The company can produce various types of filament threads, fabrics and textiles," the report said.

In addition, the annual production capacity of the enterprise is 3,000 tons and employs 60 people, the report said.

According to the report, the company's products are sent to Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin, Isfahan, Yazd, Mazandaran and Golestan provinces of Iran.
