Despite the pandemic, MEDEF International's activities with Turkmenistan remained at a high level in 2020 and 2021, International Chief Operating Officer of MEDEF International Bogdan Gadenne-Feertchak told Trend.
"Our Turkmen counterparts early accepted to move our interactions on-line," he said.
Regarding the dialogue with Turkmen business community, MEDEF International and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan singed a MoU of cooperation in February, highlighting their shared wish to nourish their dialogue and to bring their respective members closer.
"MEDEF International has been active with Turkmenistan for 20 years within its France-Turkmenistan Business Council. In this context, our organization and our members have always expressed strong willingness to further deepen and diversify ties with Turkmen authorities and with the Turkmen business community, and with international institutions supporting Turkmenistan on the path of reforming and improving its business environment, such as the EBRD and the OECD," he added.
As he said, MEDEF is working consistently, in cooperation with the Turkmen Embassy in France and with the French Embassy to Turkmenistan, to raise French companies' interest for Turkmenistan.
