Capital of Iran's Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company to grow

The capital of Iran's Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company will reach 150 trillion rials (about $3.57 billion), Managing Director of the company Nasser Taghizadeh said, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

According to him, the company's capital in the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020) amounted to 44 trillion rials (about $1.05 billion). This figure rose to 55.5 trillion rials (about $1.32 billion) over the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021). This means an increase of 26 percent.

The director added that the company's revenues in the preceding Iranian year amounted to 105 trillion rials (about $2.5 billion). This figure reached 281 trillion rials (about $6.7 billion) in the last Iranian year (an increase of 168 percent).

“In addition, the company’s expenses amounted to 59 trillion rials (about $1.4 billion) in the preceding Iranian year. The figure increased by 87 to 110 trillion rials (about $2.63 billion) in the last Iranian year,” he said.

Taghizadeh noted that the company's net revenues amounted to 171 trillion rials (about $4.07 billion) in the last Iranian year, which is an increase of 272 percent, compared to the preceding Iranian year. So, this figure was 45.9 trillion rials (about $1.09 billion) in the preceding Iranian year.

The director emphasized that compared to the preceding Iranian year, the share of each share increased by 105 percent in the last Iranian year. So, each share was worth 3,080 rials (about $0.07). While in the preceding Iranian year, this figure was 1,040 rials (about $0.02).

“The Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company produced 11.5 million tons of iron ore concentrate, 339,000 tons of iron ore pellets, 1.6 million tons of sponge iron and 1 million tons of steel ingots over the last Iranian year,” he added.

Taghizadeh stressed that company has saved 19 million euro in the last Iranian year by the domestic production of spare parts.
