Georgia is interested in attracting Austrian investments

The Georgian side remains interested in attracting Austrian business and investment to Georgia, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the prime minister.

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Georgia Thomas Mulmann.

According to the ministry, the meeting discussed bilateral relations between Georgia and Austria.

A readiness was expressed to fully realize the potential of relations between the countries in the spheres of economy, tourism, agriculture, education, and the environment.

It was noted that the Georgian side remains interested in attracting Austrian business and investment to Georgia. The successful projects implemented in Georgia with the participation of well-known Austrian companies were underlined.

"The conversation touched upon the problems associated with COVID-19 and the fight against the pandemic. The Prime Minister once again thanked the Austrian diplomat for delivering 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Georgia," the press service of the prime minister said.
