Uzbek exporters will be reimbursed for up to 50 percent of transport costs, when exporting products abroad, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.
To receive compensation, an exporter must be registered in Uzbekistan, and the supplied products must be locally produced.
At the same time, it is necessary to export to countries that do not border with Uzbekistan, with the exception of Afghanistan.
Moreover, among other conditions; the goods must be placed in the export regime, with the exception of deliveries of products by mail in the amount of up to $5,000.
The export regime is the export of goods that are in free circulation within the customs territory, and that are not being burdened with the obligation to re-import them.
Furthermore, an exporter has to pay the logistics costs.
The application and documents for compensation must be submitted to the Export Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan.
