Iran's Pars Khodro Company increases car manufacturing

Passenger cars manufacturing of Iran’s Pars Khodro Automaker Company increased by 14.5 percent during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through October 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.

According to the report, the company manufactured a total of 66,731 passenger cars within 7 months.

Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the Pars Khodro Company had manufactured 58,275 passenger cars.

"So, the company manufactured 35,302 units of "Quick 200 (Q200)", 17,786 units of "Quick", 13,146 units of "Saina (S200)", 497 units of "Brilliance" in seven months," the report said.

Furthermore, the company's passenger car manufacturing for the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2021) amounted to 8,714 units.

Reportedly, three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured 501,635 passenger cars in the first 7 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 1.1 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, these companies had manufactured about 496,095 passenger cars in the same period last Iranian year.
