Azerbaijan sees growth in GDP production in 10M2021

Azerbaijan’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) production in 10M2021 amounted to 71.6 billion manats ($42.1 billion), which is 4.9 percent more compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, the added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy increased by 2.6 percent, and in the non-oil and gas sector - by 5.9 percent.

At the same time, industry accounts for 40.8 percent of GDP, trade, vehicle repairs - 10.3 percent; transport and storage - 7.1 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing - 6.7 percent, construction - five percent, information and communication - 1.8 percent, tourist accommodation and catering - 1.2 percent, other sectors - 18.2 percent, net taxes on products and imports - 8.9 percent.

In addition, GDP per capita in the country during the reporting period amounted to 7,148 manats ($4,206).
