The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan reached $555.7 million from January through October 2021, which is by 31.6 percent more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports on Nov. 23 referring to the data of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Thus, Turkmenistan became the eighth biggest trading partner of Uzbekistan during the reporting period.
The products worth $151.5 million were exported to Turkmenistan from January through October 2021 compared to $109.7 million in the same period of last year, which is an increase of 38.1 percent.
Thus, the products worth $404.1 million were imported from Turkmenistan, which is also an increase of 29.3 percent compared to $312.3 million in the same period of last year.
