Turkmenistan ranked fourth in the top five CIS countries in terms of GDP growth of 6.2 percent from January through September 2021, Trend reports with reference to the CIS statistics.
Moldova ranked first (11.7 percent), Tajikistan ranked second (8.9 percent) and Uzbekistan ranked third (6.9 percent) in terms of GDP growth. Ukraine with a GDP growth rate of 5.7 percent ranked fifth.
GDP growth reached 4.4 percent in the CIS as a whole from January through September 2021, while decreasing by 3.1 percent from January through September 2020.
