Iran's auto makers Iran Khodro and Saipa have received permissions to raise prices on vehicles by 10 and 18 percent respectively, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The raise of prices will affect Peugeot, Samand, Rana and Dena vehicle models in case with Iran Khodro.
As for Saipa, the company will be able to increase prices on Tiba Sedan, Tiba 2 (hatchback), Saina, and Quick.
Meanwhile, Deputy CEO in Sales & Marketing at Iran Khodro Company, Babak Rahmani said the reforms on prices have increased production and supply to the market.
Deputy CEO in Sales & Marketing of Saipa Group, Hossein Kazemi said the significant increase in prices of inputs and raw materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, polymer products and petrochemicals, as well as parts, in recent months, have led an increase in the cost of products.
