The Iranian government is increasing financial resources for support of digital and innovative businesses in the budget plan for the next Iranian year (starts March 21, 2022), said the Plan and Budget Organization, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The upcoming budget plan has predicted 86 trillion rials (about $2 billion) for creating sustainable jobs and digital businesses. The resources will have 206 percent growth compared to the budget bill for the current year (started March 21, 2021).
The following resources will double the number of digital and economic complexes, innovative businesses, and technology parks in Iran's provinces.
The budget plan has also increased resources by 172 percent to 76 trillion rials (about $1.8 billion) for the National Information Network to improve a sustainable digital economy.
