Weekly review of trading at Turkmenistan's commodity exchange

Some 47 transactions worth $63.5 million were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange last week, Trend reports via the exchange.

Entrepreneurs from Switzerland, Hong Kong, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the UAE, and Afghanistan purchased various types of motor gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene for lamps, produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

Businessmen from the UAE, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan also purchased petroleum bitumen and diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery.

Moreover, local entrepreneurs purchased fabrics from polypropylene threads made at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for the domestic market, as well as handmade carpets for a total of over 867,000 manats ($248,200).
