Azerbaijan and Iran should use joint media cooperation as an opportunity to promote (introduce) the history and tourism potential of the two countries, newly appointed Governor of East Azerbaijan Province Abedin Khorram said, Trend reports citing the Governor Office’s website.
He made the remark during an online meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi and Consul General of Iran in Nakhchivan, Ahmad Hosseini.
The governor emphasized that Iran and Azerbaijan have good relations with a long history. These relations are important for both sides at the present.
Khorram also added that there are good relations between the religious and cultural ties, as well as, cultural figures and poets of the two countries. In this regard, steps can be taken to restore health tourism and develop scientific cooperation between Tabriz and Baku universities.
