Iran issues new rule for importing goods from Brazil

TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.19

Iran's Customs Administration issued a new regulation for importing goods from Brazil, the head of Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber of Commerce told Trend in an interview.

"The managing director of the import office in the Iran Customs Administration has ordered all customs borders to only accept imported goods from Brazil with the permit issued from the Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paolo," Fakhordin Amerian noted.

The imported Brazilian goods with permits issued by the Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber of Commerce will be released from the customs, the following new rule could monitor the statistics of imports and exports from Brazil, he explained.

The joint chamber has been working for five years in Iran, the chamber's branch in Sao Paolo has also started to work in the past two months.
