TEHRAN, Iran, April 5. Iran's Minister of Agriculture Jihad Javad Sadati-Nejad says that the administration kept the strategic reserves in favorable condition, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Referring to the potential shock of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on Iran`s food security situation, Javad Sadatinejad says Iran has found no direct relationship between the Russia-Ukraine conflict and food security and the supply of livestock inputs.
He assured the Iranian people not to worry about the supply of basic goods such as grains and edible oil.
“One of the reasons for the increase in the guaranteed purchase price of wheat in the country was to prevent smuggling of wheat,” minister noted.
