BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Development of Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) is a priority in the current geopolitical situation, CEO of Kazakh QazTrade JSC Azamat Askaruly said at trade and investment forum Kazakhstan-Brazil in Sao Paulo, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh Trade and Integration Ministry.

Askaruly also informed his Brazilian colleagues on the logistics solutions for trade between Kazakhstan and Brazil.

According to him, despite the significant distance between Kazakhstan and Brazil, today there are many logistics routes for the delivery of goods - both using multimodal transportation and air transport.

"Development of TITR is the priority in the implementation of mutual trade with the countries of South and North America, the EU and Africa, in the current geopolitical situation. Average delivery time is 55 days for transportation of goods from Brazil Santos port to Almaty along the TITR corridor with transshipment of goods in Black Sea ports (Georgia’s Poti and Batumi ports),” Askaruly added.

According to the CEO, transportation of goods through the ports of Baltic countries will take a similar time. Delivery of goods through Chinese ports may take 65-70 days.
