TEHRAN, Iran, May 17. The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) increased by 10,819 points to 1.583 million, on May 16, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 12.1 billion shares valued at $1.5 billion changed hands at TSE for the day.
The indices of Mobarakeh Steel Company, Golgohar industrial and mineral company, Iran Khodro Group Company, Omid investment Co., and National Copper Industrial Company had the most positive impact on TSE.
The overall index of the Farabourse gained 130 points, reaching 21,620.
