TEHRAN, Iran, May 26. Iran's chamber of commerce is seeking to expand trade with Russia's private sector, said the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Masoud Khansari, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Iran's private sector is ready to have full cooperation in trade and economic sections with Russia's companies," he said.
Khansari added that the two countries private sectors could participate in bartering cargo and reduce the US dollar's dominant role in trade.
He went on to say that Iranian companies can operate the dredging of the Volga River and barter livestock inputs and cooking oil.
Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan can form a joint transportation consortium and increase cargo transit.
