BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas (KMG) NC JSC discussed the prospects for the joint implementation of petrochemical projects with Russian ZapSibNeftekhim LLC (a petrochemical complex of the SIBUR Holding group), Trend reports via KMG.
The discussions took place during the visit of a delegation of KMG, headed by the Board Chairman Magzum Mirzagaliyev, to ZapSibNeftekhim LLC.
During the meeting, issues of potential cooperation between the companies and prospects for the joint implementation of petrochemical projects were discussed.
SIBUR is Russia's the largest producer of polypropylene, low-density polyethylene, biaxially oriented polypropylene film, polyethylene terephthalate, monoethylene glycol, expandable polystyrene, and thermoplastic elastomers, and is one of the five global leaders in the production of polyolefins (plastic).
