BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Some 44,700 tons of wheat imported by Iran through Chabahar port of Sistan and Baluchestan Province (south-eastern Iran) were unloaded from the ship and sent to warehouses on August 9, 2022, Trend reports citing Iran’s Government Trading Corporation (GTC).

The mentioned ship docked at Iran’s Chabahar port on August 3.

The information did not specify which country the wheat was imported from, but Iran usually imports wheat from such countries as Russia, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Turkiye, Germany, Holland.

Iran imported wheat and rice worth 365,000 tons (four ships of wheat, one ship with rice), via its Chabahar port since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022).
