BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. A total of 54,104 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through July 2022, which is 32.9 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in June alone amounted to 7,132 cars, which also is 16.7 percent more than in July 2021.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 4,390 vehicles (528 in July), specialized vehicles – 163 (43 in July).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in July 2022 amounted to 38, which is 41 percent less than in July 2021. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 318 vehicles, which is 7.3 percent less than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 132,230 during seven months of 2022 and 10,610 in July 2022, which is 2.4 times and 27.5 percent more respectively than during the same period of 2021.
A total of 19 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over seven months of 2022.
