BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. Iran’s non-oil exports from Semnan Province (northern Iran), increased by 53 percent in value and 26 percent in volume, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of the Semnan Province Customs Office Ali Sadaddin told Young Journalists Club, Trend reports.
The director general said that a total of 180,000 tons of goods worth $70 million were exported from the province in 7 months.
Sadaddin added that the main exported goods were ceramics, disposable containers, wire, unprocessed lead and so on, and were mainly exported to 29 countries.
“In 7 months, 10,700 tons of goods worth $16 million were imported to the province,” he noted.
According to Sadaddin, industrial equipment, car spare parts, electric vehicles, etc. were the main imported goods to the province from 19 countries.
