BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 12. The passenger car manufacturing of Iran's Saipa Group increased by 177 percent from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022) to October 8, 2022, compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to Saipa's statement.
In total, the company has manufactured 263,122 passenger cars within the mentioned period, while in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 94,957 cars.
At the same time, Saipa delivered 313,368 passenger cars to customers during March 21 to October 8, 2022. This shows a 23.4-percent increase compared to the same period last Iranian year.
As of May 22, 2022, Saipa has stopped manufacturing of three popular - ‘Tiba’, ‘Tiba 2’, and ‘Saina’ models.
