BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. Generally, Iran exported 70.4 million tons of non-oil products worth about $32.4 billion, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Morteza Emadi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to Emadi, Iran's non-oil exports for 8 months increased by 4.44 percent in value, while decreasing by about 16 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“The main exported goods were liquid propane, methanol, liquid butane, polyethylene, bitumen, urea, liquid gas, steel and iron ingots and etc. The mentioned goods were mainly exported to China, Iraq, the UAE, Türkiye and India,” he added.

As for Iran's non-oil trade turnover for 8 months, the spokesman noted that the trade turnover amounted to 93.8 million tons worth $69.5 billion, which is an increase of 10 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.
