BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14. The value of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Iran’s agricultural sector increased by 1.1 percent, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through December 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the statistics, the value of GDP in the agricultural sector for 9 months amounted to 1.54 quadrillion rials (about $36.7 billion).
“Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at approximately 1.53 quadrillion rials (about $36.3 billion),” the statistics said.
In addition, the share of the agricultural sector in Iran's gross domestic product was 17.1 percent in 9 months.
In total, the value of Iran’s GDP (including crude oil) amounted to approximately 11.6 quadrillion rials (about $275 billion) within the first 9 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 3.72 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, the figure stood at about 11.2 quadrillion rials (about $266 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.
