BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 25. Iran’s foreign trade turnover through the Parvizkhan border checkpoint in the Kermanshah Province (western Iran) amounted to 2.57 million tons worth $3.86 billion, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Director General of the Parvizkhan border checkpoint Ghasem Motallebi told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Motallebi, 2.46 million tons of goods worth $960 million were exported through Iran's Parvizkhan border checkpoint in the last Iranian year.

He added that the main exported goods included fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products, and construction materials, and they were mainly exported to Iraq.

The director general also said that $6.23 million worth of goods were imported to the country through Parvizkhan checkpoint within the mentioned period.

In general, there are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Iran’s Kermanshah Province. More than $3 billion worth of non-oil products are exported through the mentioned checkpoints and border markets annually.
