BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. Iran’s non-oil exports through customs of Bushehr Province (southern Iran), increased by 32 percent in value and 7 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani told reporters, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to Soleimani, about 27.2 million tons of non-oil products worth $13.2 billion were exported through Bushehr Province’s customs in the last Iranian year

“The main exported products were petrochemical products, gas condensate, cement, fish, shrimp, gypsum, greens and vegetables, etc.,” he said.

The customs official noted that the mentioned goods were mainly exported to China, the UAE, India, Türkiye, Pakistan, the Republic of South Africa, Mozambique, Thailand, Nigeria and Sudan.

Overall, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023). This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period in the preceding Iranian year.
