BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22. The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan held trades in foreign currency last week, the total amount of transactions of which amounted to approximately $22.78 million, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, the products manufactured by the Turkmennebit State Concern were purchased by entrepreneurs from the UAE, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and other countries, including gasoline, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas and polypropylene.
Furthermore, entrepreneurs from Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan bought cotton fabric and yarn for foreign currency.
A total of 27 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
