Iran boosts non-oil exports via Kermanshah Province’s customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 28. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Kermanshah Province (western Iran), increased by 12 percent in value and 18 percent in volume, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023), compared to the same period last year, an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh said, Trend reports.

The official noted that in total, 1.19 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $467 million were exported through the customs of Iran’s Kermanshah Province for 2 months.

Abbaszadeh added that fittings, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, construction materials, dairy products, rubber products and so on were the main exported goods via the province’s customs.

There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Kermanshah Province of Iran.

Overall, Iran exported about 10.5 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $3.65 billion for the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2023).

This is a decrease of 12.9 percent in value, while an increase of 17.7 percent in volume compared to the same month in the last year.
