Sales of Iran’s Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Company booming

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. The sales of Iran’s Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company increased by 31 percent in value for the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2023), compared to the same month in the last year, Trend reports.

According to the report, the company's total sales for the 4th month amounted to 45.4 trillion rials (about $1.08 billion).

Of that, approximately 40 trillion rials (about $951 million) accounted for the company's domestic sales, while 5.45 trillion rials (about $130 million) for exports.

Meanwhile, in the first 4 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), the company's total sales stood at 180 trillion rials (about $4.28 billion), which is an increase of 16 percent compared to the same period of the last Iranian year.

During 4 months, the Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company produced 3.59 million tons of iron ore concentrate, about 1.5 million tons of iron ore pellets, 613,000 tons of sponge iron and 42,400 tons of steel ingots.

Iran’s Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company in the Yazd Province (central Iran), was founded in 1992. The company has the capacity to produce 10.5 million tons of iron ore concentrate, 1.2 million tons of iron ore pellets, 1.3 million tons of steel, and so on per year.
